Webinar: Improving Personalized Care Delivery with the Clinically Integrated Supply Outcomes Model
Quality and safety are fundamental goals in all global healthcare systems from both a patient and provider perspective. Patient safety is a particular challenge, despite more than two decades of research and safety initiatives to define and address the challenge. Medical error, a core element of patient safety, has now become the third leading cause of death in North America, behind heart disease and cancer.
With these challenges in mind, HIMSS has developed the Clinically Integrated Supply Outcomes Model (CISOM), an eight stage (0-7) model that lays the pathway to building a supply chain infrastructure that provides benefits in both quality and safety. Using the CISOM, healthcare organizations are given guideposts to follow to build capabilities in delivering personalized care for populations.
HIMSS will be hosting a live webinar on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 11am CT/ 12pm ET to provide a detailed overview of the model. Anne Snowdon, Director of Clinical Research, HIMSS Analytics will explain the origins of the CISOM and the importance of the model to healthcare systems today.
